Ophelia · Art Therapist | Fine Art Poster | Watercolour | Framed & Unframed

I see you. I am here.

Ophelia is not an invented being. She is a self-portrait, created during the artist’s master’s studies in “Intermedial Art Therapy”, out of a single question: who am I when I heal?

She listens with her whole body. Her senses are wide open, to what is spoken and to what hovers between the lines. The third eye on her forehead reminds us that real encounter needs more than two eyes. The dragonfly, the flowers, the nature that envelops her are no coincidence. In work with children and young people, nature is often the first language, even before words come.

On her necklace she wears a diamond. Inside: two small figures sitting opposite each other. A therapy session, enclosed in something precious. The flower of life in her hair stands for what connects all people, even when they feel alone in their darkest hour. Her gaze does not look away. It says: I see you. Not your smile, not your façade. You.

A special work of art for everyone who loves psychology, healing and spiritual art. As a gift for therapists, psychologists, healing practitioners, or as a reminder on your own path of self-knowledge.
